Programming Set Menus

A set menu is a list of products that are linked to a main product or function.
This list then behaves like a drop down list when the main product or function is pressed.
An example would be to select a PLU called “Coffee”, and then have all the coffee types appear in a list, or select a steak and then have the cooking options appear in a list.
Set Menus can be as simple as this; however can also be more complex with multiple dropdowns appearing in a chain.
To get started, firstly select the first PLU that you wish to add and select “Add” as shown below.

To get started, firstly select the first PLU that you wish to add and select “Add” as shown below.

If your items require a price calculation, then you can select a price level to add. This must be done prior to adding the items to the set menu.

As in the example above, “Cooking Instructions”, once you have added all the required PLU’s give your set menu a name, choose the ‘set type’ and min/max number of stay downs, then select to save the set menu.

Your new set menu should now appear in a list on the right side of the screen with an option to edit it if required.

Next you will need to link your set menu to your PLU. (see previous section on PLU programing if required).
